[wplug] Where is the dates for potential wplug meetings?

Not everyone is subscribed to the wplug-plan list, but that is by
design. That is an open list (anyone who wants to can subscribe to it),
so those who are interested in this type of event planning can subscribe
freely. Those who aren't, don't have to.
The general mailing list is, well, sort of "general", so just about
anything could potentially be at least somewhat on topic - but is
primarily intended for (mainly FOSS-related) technical topics, such as
your iCalendar query from yesterday, and group announcements. The goal
isn't necessarily to have more activity on the general list - the goal
is more like getting content to people who have an interest in that
content. I can tell you, anecdotally, that whenever we have the
occasional small flurry of non-technical discussions on the general
list, we soon thereafter get at least one or two "unsubscribe" requests,
so we know that not everyone on the general list is interested in
discussions of non-technical topics - which is one reason why there is a
separate list....
Admittedly, we don't use the wplug-plan list as often as we should, so
sometimes people forget it's there - that's something we should try to fix.
