Hi George, I've signed up for the Stanford machine learning class as well.
If you wish, or if anyone else on the list is interested, let me know, and
perhaps we can form a study group.

Also, though I'm not signed up for the DB class, working in relational
databases is my bread and butter. So I'm available for tutoring, and for
attending a study session on database theory if one is started.

If you want to make arrangements, please contact me off the mailing list, or
on the list, if you think there'd be general interest.
