The ActionTec router that they give you runs Linux.  You can ssh into
it.  PPPoE IIRC.  I can check at home later.

Are you sure that you want to do business with the devil?  Verizon's
IPv4 BGP peers+view are deplorable.  Best to wait till they resell PVCs
to local ISPs with a clue.
