I think you should give PClinuxOS 2007 (http://www.pclinuxos.com/) a 
try, if you're in the KDE camp.  I've been using PCLOS since last August 
after much distro hopping.  It's been the only one that's just plain 
"worked-right-out-of-the-box" for me on my menagerie of desktops and my 
lone laptop.
