 	Does it have an IP address?
 	Can you get it to print out it's current configuration (via 
front-controls)?
 	Does it have whatever protocols turned on?

 	At the very least, you should be able to feed it data via LPR, and 
it shouldn't quite care what you're printing -- something should come out.

 	My HP8k came with appletalk turned on. Network printing makes life 
so much nicer. Oh, and having a Swingline 747 that lives ontop of the 
unit.
