[wplug] Tomcat jsvc processes

Hi everyone,
I've got a couple of servers running Tomcat 5.0.27, and I've noticed
something strange on some of them. Tomcat is being started by jsvc,
running on port 80 as a non-root user. When looking to see the status
of the processes with ps -efm | grep jsvc | wc -l, I get the result of
433. Is it normal for a tomcat application to hold jsvc processes open?
I am being asked how to fix this problem, but am not convinced that it's
actually a problem.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!
