[wplug] ? MythTV, PVR350 and Install Fest

I've built several MythBoxes at this point, and have played with
KnoppMyth, Fedora, and Ubuntu. I've had the easiest time with Fedora,
mostly due to Jarod Wilson's excellent howto
(http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php); if you're new to MythTV (or
Linux in general), the best bet is probably to go with Jarod.

As for the 350, some people have had trouble getting the on-screen
display overlay to work properly with it's S-Video out. I know it's
appealing since it does hardware MPEG decoding as well as encoding, but
then the system has to do wonky things to insert its information overlay
into the stream. A reasonably strong processor (I've got a 2 GHz P4 in
mine) can decode just fine, and you can output to a video card much more
easily.

Of course, if you were planning on outputting via a video card to start
with, there's no reason to go with the 350 over the 250.
