I've gone pretty much 100% M$ free at this point. Although I haven't
reformatted the Win partitions on the box, I haven't booted Windows in
several months and don't plan on doing so anytime in the forseeable
future. I should add the disclaimer, however, that I haven't gone 100%
Linux. I picked up a PowerBook, and anything that I used to need
Windows for (mostly music notation) I can now do in Mac OSX. If it
weren't for the lack of a decent music notation program (yes I know
about MusicTEX, Rosegarden, MUP, and CMN) I probably could go 100%
Linux, but that's a pretty important requirement for me.
BTW, if you're looking for a mixman replacement, you might want to
check out GDAM or TerminatorX.
