Sorry, as soon as I sent this out, I tried something that worked.

When I mentioned I didn't know Perl, I remembered the little bit I did 
know from back in the day.

I put #!/usr/bin/php at the top of the php page and chmoded 755.

Now all I have to do is add the page to CRON and I'm done. :)
