I recently got a Linksys card, but I haven't installed it yet.  I'm running Red
Hat 8.0 and last I checked (a month ago probably) the wireless drivers were
having trouble with 8.0  (due to the newer gcc).

In any case, I've found http://www.linux-wlan.com/linux-wlan/ to be helpful.
