Hi-
Does anyone know about parallel port scanners? I already RTFM'd a couple
times, recompiled, etc... but I can't get the OnSpec 90c26 module (onscsi) to
load correctly. Here is a brief transcript of a term session:
[root at localhost dgreen]# insmod ppscsi
Using /lib/modules/2.2.17-21mdk/scsi/ppscsi.o
[root at localhost dgreen]# insmod onscsi
Using /lib/modules/2.2.17-21mdk/scsi/onscsi.o
/lib/modules/2.2.17-21mdk/scsi/onscsi.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including i
nvalid IO or IRQ parameters

I have an Epson printer after the scanner on the parallel chain, but I don't
believe that it is the source of the problem. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks!
Doug
PS- Almost forgot- it's a Microtek Scanmaker X6 parallel port scanner and it
should work under this driver. There's even an NHF file on it at
http://www.linuxnewbie.org/nhf/intel/hardware/microtekX6.html of course,
this didn't work, or I wouldn't be asking for your help... ;)
