I personally like this point of view + he's my friend + it's a decent logo.  As soon as he submitted it though I thought of the javajeff/tblug disaster.  To my knowledge he created a webpage for wplug in notepad or something and the group didn't want to use it because it was created in windows.  A logo may be different though.  Is that the case?
