Announcement list (Re: [wplug-plan] Organizational considerations)

It would be, absolutely. But I thought that the wplug-announce list was
maintained for this purpose. Anyone who's even the slightest bit interested
could ask to hear more about us, and we'd add them to the announce list. Isn't
that what we've done before?

That's true. But we could put out an announcement for the GUM at least two weeks
in advance. We have the same room for March, right? Or at least, could we get a
reservation for that room by this Saturday?
