Once a merchant receives money through Coinbase, Coinbase can
automatically convert the BTC to fiat and deposit it in a bank account of
the merchant's choice. Since none of WPLUG's expenses can be paid in
BTC, I assume that's what we would want to do.
Put simply, there isn't a need to establish a WPLUG Bitcoin wallet unless
Linode, USPS, or one of our other service vendors starts accepting
cryptocurrency payments.
What DBMS is this going to involve? If it's MariaDB, I'd be willing to help with
what little I know about it. I bought a database book earlier this year that
covers the basics. This might be the incentive I need to finish it.
