You forget that Justin Smith and Terry Golightly can't subscribe to this
list and would have a hard time communicating their opinion. Their
opinion matters because they are on committee of the WPLUG board. Justin
is the head of the investigations committee.

Is there there a valid reason why a committee head can't attend a board
meeting. Is there a valid readon whay anyone intrested can't attend a
board meeting when we have an increased participation initiative we are
trying to fulfill?

IMO, I think the problem is that either you are mis-defining "board
folks" or we are not using the right list. My understanding is that all
logistics planning is suppose to be in wplug-plan.

I agree that posting your conference call access code to a public
mailing list would be a bad thing. I think using comany resources for
extra curricular activities could also be a bad thing. I know IBM has no
qualms about using office space for extra curricular, but why should we
bother with using their phone systems when we have a VPS we can run an
asterisk or a mumble service on? If the problem is lack of skill then
that is a problem that has to addressed at the next board meeting for
sure no matter how we are doing it.
