[wplug] KVM error in Fedora 20

I'm trying to set up a network bridge so the KVM virtual machines
running on my Fedora 20 computer can be accessed by the rest of my
network. However, when I try to create a bridge in virt-manager, the
virtual machine configuration GUI, I get an error message:

> Error setting interface parameters. 'str' object has no attribute
> 'XMLDesc'

The only reference I could find to this was a brief discussion on the
Fedora 20 mailing lists back in November that seemed to go nowhere. Some
guy said he'd file a bug report, and from what I can see on the Red Hat
bug tracker, that never happened. Other discussion results I found
inevitably told the person who asked to use the command line.

I /know/ you can set up a bridge in the command line, but I'm trying to
study for the RHCSA certification, and it's really annoying not being
able to practice some of what I need to know. Any ideas for what I can
do to resolve this?
