[wplug] Port Forwarding in Verizon Router

Are you forwarding to machines that are getting IP addresses via DHCP?

On my home network, all the regular members have static IP addresses and
my port forwarding is set up based on IP address rather than host name.
Therein my system does not use DNS to find the machines. That's the
only way I've ever done forwarding.

I don't have FIOS but I do have Verizon DSL so I'm thinking it might be
somewhat similar to your situation.

I don't know if this solution appeals to you but assigning them static
IP addresses might work. I imagine you could try putting the currently
assigned IP address in your router control interface just to test it
before bothering with configuring static.
