This holds true with just about all the major OS's.  Especially
Windoze.  The 64 bit driver support is horrible at best.
The openness of linux makes it a much better option if your wanting to
run a 64 bit OS.  But as Patrick stated, it's
still incomplete at best.

I'm sticking with 32bit apps and OS's for now.
