[wplug] is firefox on linux just really slow with animations?

The bubbles came up sort of one at a time then all zoomed in / became
opaque at the same time. Lightbox looked fine (I saw a little loading
circle like in flash....that ok?) I'm using Firefox 3 on Ubuntu.
