Glad to hear it worked out.  I wasn't aware that RHEL3 uses LVM1 as
indicated by the /etc/lvmtab.  RHEL4 uses LVM2 and has an /etc/lvm
directory.  Still, you'd end up doing the same thing to fix the
problem with the volume group in this case.
