Hi,

I started to put together an open source project for an adaptive
network/disk backup system for linux. The details are at labsproject.org.
The software is written in python and will be tested for the backup of
several hundred boxes. This is and educational project developed
mainly by students, but I expect the software to eventually be
refined to production quality.

I can use some help as following:

1. Feedback/ideas/comments.

2. Longer term involvement at any level.

3. Please send my way any CMU undergrad/grad students that may be
interested to participate as workstudents on paid positions as the one
described below:

Skills: knowledge of python, proficient with linux.
Workload: about 10-12 hours weekly, flexible.
Pay: $12/hour
Environment: work can be done remotely from student's home or office,
linux environment a must for programming and testing.

Thank you,
Florin Manolache
