I believe he was talking about the SCS Helpdesk, in Wean Hall.

Usually, what you'll find is dead PC motherboards from dells with bad
capacitors, and old CRTs that are just taking up too much space, even
though they work.  There are sometimes sun CRTs too, and every once in a
while, a working sparc.  No HP parts, since SCS hasn't really used HP
UNIX hardware since they phased it out a decade ago (probably with CMU
Mach).
