[wplug] [OT] GPS units and geocaching

Does anyone have experience with the Magellan Explorist XL? It looks like
it¹s using SD cards for detail maps... So does this more/less negate the use
of a computer?? Seems like gone are the days of transferring data to the
unit, so compatibility issues are a thing of the past??

Any insights appreciated!
