Yeah, I'd forgotten about that - it's good to be back home :)
Seriously, I'd been away for so long that I often don't trust Debian
and second-guess what it's going to do - case in point tonight I had a
big sloppy grin when Aptitude actually uninstalled unneeded
dependencies without me asking it to do so.

Bitchin'.  Don't know why my eyes didn't see "xorg" in apt-cache...
I'll try it once I find fresh batteries for my round tooit.
