The resources available at an installfest are:
  - Fast Internet connection via the CMU network
  - A random assemblage of tech people, at least one of whom probably
knows something about whatever problem you're having
  - A semi-random collection of Linux and BSD installation discs
  - Carts to haul in your equipment
  - Fuel (donuts and pizza)

You will need to bring:
  - Your computer and any ancillary hardware (monitor, keyboard, etc.)
  - Any peripherals you want to set up at the same time
  - A 10Base-T cable to use the network (wireless not available)
  - A power strip
  - $5 if you want pizza (usually)

If you're interested in installing a particular flavor of Linux, you
can post to the list ahead of time to see if it's in the WPLUG library
or if someone can bring their discs in from home.

It's been my experience that most of the actual activity going on at
an installfest isn't installing per se, but people trying to solve
problems they're experiencing with an already-installed system. And
many people are simply hanging out.

Anyone feel free to make corrections if you find any of the above to
be wrong.
