  Well, from lspci -vx (there is no "w" option) ... it says that it's a 
Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5704 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 02).
This is what dmesg has to say about it ...
eth1: Tigon3 [partno(BCM95704A6) rev 2002 PHY(5704)] ...
 It seems like they are seeing the same card.
