You referred to some DRM website in an earlier post, and having trouble
with the kernel configuration. You decided to try compiling a kernel
from the upstream sources -- if you were compiling a SuSE-provided
kernel, I might understand your desire to use their RPM.

As you're compiling upstream, I'd use sources intended to work with
upstream sources.

You might try pulling sources from the DRM website and building those
into the kernel. If you'd like a little help, I'd be glad to try, but
I'll definitely need more information. It might help to start with this
DRM site to which you refer -- might you let us know what this site is,
and where you got these sources? The more information you provide, the
easier it is to provide assistance.
