When you invoke mozilla, what command line are 
you using? Can you display an x app ( such as
Mozilla ) on your machine w/o using ssh 
forwarding? )

Way I recall, x-forwarding uses a dummy display,
usually :10, so you might want to try something
like xterm -d yourmachine.com:10 - haven't got 
a machine handy to test this on.
