[wplug] Financial Management Software

I have tried GnuCash in the past, but found it to be very limited since
online banking is not supported in the US. I currently use Quicken 2002
for Mac, but I've been seriously considering the use of something like
Filemaker Pro 7 with a plugin (see fmpro.org for details). The ultimate
goal, of course, would be to consolidate everything (finances,
inventories, contacts, calendars, etc) into non-proprietary data tables
and use something like FM Pro. I know it's not a Gnu licensed app, but
it looks pretty good and maybe something like MySQL could do a similar
job? Just a thought. If anybody has done this successfully, I think it
would be a really cool tutorial/subject of future discussion to see how
people are managing data (databases).
