In general, Pgh seems to be in a particularly bad
shape, compared to other cities, nationally. There is
a recent article on the American Demographics Magazine
about that. The city is particularly good attracting
people with higher education, but can not keep them
(and it is not attracting low skilled workers...)

I see no serious effort from the city leadership to
address that. You Linux people, planting the seeds of
a new software industry, should let your voices be
heard: "You better let us work here, or this city will
