	Look at the options for mkinitrd on SuSE.  On RH you can use
command line options to specifically force in modules - by default (and
again, under RH) the command merely looks at additions to
/etc/modules.conf and adds modules found there.  I have no idea how SuSE
may have altered it's mkinitrd, but given the dramatic difference in the
usage of /etc/modules.conf between the 2 it has to be pretty
dramatic....
