Hi,

Just in case you haven't heard, the next International Linux Meetup
Day is November 4th at 8pm. Every 1st Tuesday of every month is when linux
geeks from different cities meet in cafes in their home towns, face to
face, to be social and talk about linux stuff. To my knowledge, Pittsburgh
has yet to have an International Linux Meetup due to lack of interest.

Just to be clear, this is not a WPLUG organized event.

This event is organized via meetup.com which is a website that attempts
to facilitate people meeting with the same hobbies and political
interests by region. Pittsburgh, PA happens to have dozens of events
organized every month via meetup.com.

What you do if you want to RSVP, you can get a free account and rsvp at
http://linux.meetup.com/ If you rsvp in the next couple days, you get
to vote on venue. You can still show up if you don't rsvp, but you
will not get mail confirming the location. Also, if enough people
don't rsvp the event will be canceled. You don't want that, do you?

Ok folks this is your opportunity to attend a non-Saturday morning
Linux event in Pittsburgh. Also this is a chance to meet somewhere
else other than CMU. Is there interest? Only time and meetup.com will
tell.

Have Fun!

Beth Lynn
