[wplug] OpenOffice Calc "Maximum number of rows?"

I'm opening up a .xls file in Open Office and when it opens I get a 
warning stating "Maximum number of rows exceeded.  Excess rows were not 
imported."

No this file still opens, and has 241 rows of information.

But if 241 is some kind of limit, where do I go to change or increase 
that limit?  I poked all around the Options area and could not find the 
error above in Google.

I also cannot think of a way of determining how many rows the source 
file actually has.
