Jt,

I'm running a VPN project at work right now, so this topic is near and dear to
my heart at the moment. Now that you mention it, I've actually seen this same
behavior on my laptop under RedHat 7.3. However, I recently upgraded to VPN
Client 4.0 and I don't recall this happening for a while, so it's possible that
4.0 fixed it, but I'm not 100% sure.

By the way, why do you expect to see activity on the loopback interface
for the VPN?
