Dear all
I'm having a silly problem with my Redhat 8.0 box. When I schedule stuff
with at, nothing gets executed. The diagnostics go as follows:
[root at helios root]# /etc/init.d/atd status
atd (pid 6339) is running...
[root at helios root]# cat /etc/at.allow
alex
[root at helios root]#
So, I'm trying to schedule stuff as "alex", but I get ignored. The jobs
are accepted (I see them with atq), but when the time comes, they
simply move out of the queue and into oblivion! I tried running
something as root, to rule out the improper permissions problem, and it
had the same results (i.e. no results).
Any ideas?
Thanks
