Try installing it via rpmfind (it can, to some extent, resolve deps)
("rpmfind snd")

Otherwise, rpmfind.net has a search facility - it will tell you what RPM
contains the file dep you're trying to satisfy and give you a link to the
RPM itself.  It's a PITA, but certainly resolvable.
