I have an IBM Thinkpad 380D that I have recently installed Debian Woody on. I have everything working with respect to my home network, but now I want to be able to take it to work and connect. At home, my computers have a set IP address, 192.168.0.XXX, the laptop is 192.168.0.4. At work we use DHCP. I need to know if there is a utility out there that will allow me to easily change the network setting back and forth.

One of my main goals is to be able to use my laptop as a way to transfer files (larger then 1.4 mb) back and forth between work and home. I have xsmbrowser installed, and according to the documentation, that will take care of the different smb network setting, but I do not know how to change the network settings.
