[wplug] Appletalk IP resolution?

Is it possible to resolve an IP address from an Appletalk address?
Specifically, my department is running JetDirect priniting. I can reach
the printers with netatalk, but there should be a way to address them
directly by IP address (and set it up as a JetDirect printer with that
IP), shouldn't there? Does appletalk NOT use IP?? Any help is
appreciated. Thanks again!
