Hrm ... how about:

They can vote on one to three names. The votes are lumped into buckets
(1st choce, 2nd choice, 3rd choice) where points (weight) is assigned to a
higher bucket.

If you could hide the emails, I would appreciate that, too. My Spam intake is
quite high these days.
