Position: Customer Support Engineer

SEEGRID Corporation currently has employment opportunities in its
Client Services area and is seeking Customer Support Engineers
dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Familiarity with
GNU/Linux and an interest in robotics are preferred.

Responsibilities
* Install, repair and maintain SEEGRID equipment in customer environments
* Remotely support distributor installation and repair of SEEGRID systems
* Travel as needed to provide on-site repair and maintenance service
* Create and maintain system documentation
* Generate customer-focused product release notes, updates and errata
* Maintain customer support records
* Manage spare parts inventory
* Attend out of area training sessions as needed
* Attend out of area special projects as needed
* Communicate customers' needs and perspectives to other departments

Requirements
* Strong PC hardware maintenance and repair skills
* Must possess proven customer relationship, time management &
organizational skills
* Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision are a must
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Availability for travel outside of local area for training or
special projects is required
* Must be available for shift schedules which may include weekends and
holidays as well as varying shifts as business needs dictate
* Able to lift up to 70lbs
* Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required

Preferred
* Experience using GNU/Linux
* Interest in robotics
* B.S. Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
* A.S. Electrical Engineering Technology with 5 years experience
