Thanks for sharing your experience, Joe!  I agree with your assessment.  
Even if we can find an attorney to do the work pro bono (and not charge 
us for their time), the filing fees are a "hard" expense (i.e., someone 
has to come up with that money, in cash).  At the moment, we really 
can't even afford to buy the banners, unless we can get a grant (or find 
a generous benefactor) to pay for it....
