[wplug-board] 501c3

To be quite honest, we really don't have enough money to pay for a
501(c)(3) at the moment. Generally you file for a state non-profit
and 501(c)(3) at the same time as well, as it smoothens out the
process a bit. To give you an idea, Burgh Bees (the other group I'm
on the board of directors of) has been a state NPO for several years,
as due to lack of money at the time we filed at the state level only.
We can do it now that we're bringing in much more money, but even we
are trying to find a cheap way to do 501(c)(3). The best quote we
found for somebody who wouldn't do it pro-bono was 1,500 dollars, plus
the 850 dollars worth of filing fees (which is a mandatory expense).
The average quote was around 3,000 dollars plus filing fees. That
said, we may have found somebody to do it pro-bono plus the filing
fees, but that isn't concrete at all yet, so I can't elaborate
further. So yeah, best case we need to have an extra 900 dollars
lying around allocated just for this, so I don't really see it being
possible at the moment.
