[wplug-announce] Reminder: General User Meeting on Saturday

Just a quick reminder that WPLUG will be holding a General User Meeting 
on Saturday at the Wilkins School Community Center.  The organization's 
business meeting will start at 2:00pm, and our technical programming for 
the day will begin at 2:30pm.  You can view the schedule, and the 
line-up of what's in store for the technical portion of the event, here:

This is also a reminder that, during the business meeting, we will be 
voting on final approval for an amendment to Section 8.4 of the bylaws; 
the amendment is intended to put virtual meetings on an equal footing 
with in-person meetings for WPLUG's Board and committees.  All 
dues-paying members in good standing are entitled to cast a vote on 
whether or not this amendment will be adopted.

If you are a member in good standing, and you are planning to attend the 
General User Meeting on Saturday, you will have an opportunity to cast 
your ballot on this amendment at the meeting.  If you are a member who 
is not able to attend the meeting on Saturday, but still wish to cast a 
ballot, there is still just barely time to do so by mail (assuming you 
are located in the Pittsburgh area).  You may download a printable

If you can get your ballot into the mail by Friday morning, it should 
arrive at the WPLUG post office box in time to be counted at the meeting 
on Saturday.  In order to be counted, ballots sent by mail must arrive 
at the post office box prior to the meeting on Saturday.
