The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Western Pennsylvania Linux Users Group was held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the IBM offices in Squirrel Hill.  Due to unavailability of space in this venue, the meeting was adjourned to the Smallman Street Deli in Squirrel Hill and re-convened at 7:53 PM, the regular presiding officer being in the chair and the secretary being present.

The Chair reported that he will be investigating implementing anti-spam measures on the server with Pat Barron.  He noted that there have been no recent problems with MySQL.

The Vice-Chair reported that HackPittsburgh has been reserved for the June 27 and July 11 General User Meetings.  He has been discussing a presentation on e-mail for June with Justin Smith and will update the wiki with details.  He stated that he will attempt to get our events listed with Pittsburgh Code and Supply.

The Secretary reported that there are currently 18 members.

On behalf of the Treasurer, who was absent, the Director at Large reported that there is $454.56 in the checking account with $20.00 in dues yet to be deposited.  He stated that he believed the picnic shelter has not yet been reserved for August.

John Lewis stated that he wanted to pursue holding a joint event with ComputerReach, which refurbishes and installed Linux on donated computers.

The minutes of the April 21, 2015 meeting were approved as distributed.

The meeting adjourned at 8:13 PM.
