Meeting to be held at Pittsburgh Filmmakers at 7:00pm, Tuesday, March 18, 2014.



The meeting was called to order at 7:37 PM. Chairman Justin Smith, Secretary Joe Prostko, Treasurer Pat Barron, and Director-at-Large Stanley Slomberg were present. Vice Chair Vance Kochenderfer was unable to attend the meeting.


The Chair tried to contact Marty from SNAPGH with no success. It is unknown at this time if there will be a Juju worknshop hosted by SNAPGH and WPLUG. The Chair also reported he is ready to work on the WPLUG website, but does not want to be the only person doing the work. Stanley agreed to help him clean up content on the current MediaWiki site, and then switching to the Erudite theme on the site will be implemented.

The Vice Chair is not present.

The Secretary reports that currently there are 13 members of WPLUG.

The Treasurer reported that as of 2/28/2014, the bank balance is $283.51. He also reported that there is an outstanding payment due to Wilkins School for room usage, and that there is also $57.00 in the refreshment fund.

The Director-at-Large had nothing to report.


There was a movement by the Treasurer to pay Wilkins School Community Center for March use of meeting space. There was unanimous agreement and the motion carried.

The Chair mentioned that still plans to get together with SNAPGH next month for joint event/workshop about Juju, but that nothing is concrete at this point. He said he will follow up with Marty at SNAPGH.

There was some discussion about a social event for April, since the joint event with SNAPGH will likely have to be delayed. There was also some discussion about perhaps just having WPLUG host the workshop, but it was decided to hold off on that for now. The new plan is to have a professional networking event on April 16th at Pittsburgh Filmmakers, which will involve pizza and maybe a movie.
