-The regular monthly meeting of the Western Pennsylvania Linux Users Group was held on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 11:05 AM, at the Wilkins School Community Center.  David Kraus called the meeting to order and without objection served as chairman pro tem.  The regular Secretary was present.  The minutes of the [[Meeting-20090404|April 4, 2009 meeting]] were approved as read.

-The Treasurer reported that WPLUG funds in the checking account and cash on hand total approximately $684.
-The Secretary reported that WPLUG currently has 25 members.
-The Wilkins School Networking Committee reported they will be meeting on May 11 at 6:00 PM at the Wilkins School.  This meeting will discuss the architecture of the network, and the committee chair will meet with the Board of Directors of the Wilkins School Community Center at 7:00 PM to present the plan.
-The Program Committee reported that an installfest will be held on June 6 at the Brookline branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.  The presentation for the July 11 General User Meeting will be about voice over IP and the [http://www.asterisk.org/ Asterisk PBX].
