more specific with this problem but it is difficult to acquire data from
this problem PC. I am running Fedora 12 on it with little added software
or changed configuration. After a month of running, I attempted to do a
system package update. Yum reported that there were over 300 updates
available. When I tried to do an update there was at first a report that
the first package was missing or not able to acquire some code
(signature?). A similar problem occurred when this system was running
Fedora 11. (Fedora 12 install was done as a new installation, not an
update.) When I tried to repeat the update function I now get an
ERROR message that looks like yum is bad. This all leads to my only
question, does anyone know if Fedora 12 (and possibly 11) have updating
problems. I have PC's running 8, and 10 and they updated fine until the
support time ran out.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
