</blockquote></div><br>To be fair, the lines at the post office can be pretty bad. The junk mail I receive daily is pretty annoying and a waste of resources. Also, if you mail packages from the US to Europe, or from Europe to the US, you find that your package spends 75% of the transit time in the sunny Newark NJ. (Some exaggeration may have been added for effect.)<br>
<br>I didn't see anyone say the post-office was evil, just that it wasn't a model of efficiency. Then there was a question of whether it was public or private, which Patrick did a good job of clarifying. Ultimately, it is nice that stamps are relatively cheap. But, it is far from perfect.<br>
