The benchmarks I saw just after Virtualbox came out put it as faster than Qemu (the previous performance champ), which it's built upon. That's only the case if you tell it to pre-allocate a certain amount of hard drive space. If you tell to to dynamically resize, it's a dog.<br>

I'd like to get a plug in for VirtualBox (<a href="http://www.virtualbox.org/" target="_blank">http://www.virtualbox.org/</a>). I've been using it to develop a security lab, for testing, playing etc and I've been VERY impressed with it. I've had experience with VMWare and with VirtualBox and I'd say VirtualBox hangs pretty well with VmWare. I have no data to back this up, but it seems that VirtualBox performs better than VMWare Server (but I have to real data to support that, so take it for what it is worth).<font color="#888888"><br>
