So I installed php-mysql<br>mysql-3.23.58-16.FC3.1<br>php-mysql-4.3.11-2.8<br>mysql-server-3.23.58-16.FC3.1<br><br>I got farther this time and based on the error I am now getting:<br>"phpBB:Critical Error Could not connect to the database"

You shouldn't need either of those packages.<br>

You might be missing the mysql-client package. I haven't used a
redhat based system in a while so I am not sure if the php-mysql
package has the files needed. It used to be requirement.<br>
